A traditional Japanese bamboo whisk (chasen) for matcha. Dozens of fine bamboo tines blend the powder and water into a smooth, even foam with no lumps.
How to use: soak the whisk in hot water for a minute to soften the tines, then whisk quickly from side to side (in an M or W shape) until a fine foam forms.
Care: rinse with water only, no soap, and let it dry standing on its handle.
